Can I call in grouchy? Saturday, 29 April 2006

I swear, I got up in a bad mood today and it all went downhill from there. Kirsty was not feeling well last night.  Not sure whether she was really sick, or if she was just unsettled because Kaitlyn was having a sleepover at her friend's house, but she woke me up about 4 times through the night.  It was like having a newborn in the house again!  I overslept so I was running a few minutes late for work. Then I walked into TONS of freight needing to be put up. Including my favorites…coolers (take up lots of room), fishing rods (display racks are a total and utter disaster), and ammunition. It was a really busy morning, and between dealing with customers and trying to get all the freight put away, it was no fun at all. I know I'm responsible for my own moods, but just couldn't shake this one. I think tomorrow I'll call in grumpy….think they'll buy that?

Bristlecone Pine

I came across these digital copies of some photos I took at Cedar Breaks National Monument. I really need to start taking photos again…I find it relaxing and it's nice to have a creative outlet. Guess I'd better start making some time…

Modified to add – these photos are my personal property and not to be used without my explicit permission.  Thanks…

I remember when I was younger, my mother used to ask me 'if everyone else was jumping off a bridge, would you jump too?'  Of course the only safe answer to that was 'no'.  Yet here I am, starting a blog, just like everyone else.  Not sure why, although I suppose it doesn't really matter.  I'm hoping this will be a good way to keep in touch with friends and family in the US once we're well and truly settled in the UK.  I'll try to update on a fairly regular basis, although truth be told, I'm pretty crap at things like this….
